The Grandparents Visit
29 December - 5 January

During the visit, we ate out.  A lot.  Some places have dogs, cats or chickens wandering around. At L'Okavango (left) we had a rather different sort of dinner guest.  They begged just like any other household pet.

At Marox (above) we were glad the kids didn't order a regular size lunch meal.

Of course we went to Coco Beach.  The kids and Ian swam in the ocean while the rest of us dug out feet in the sand and searched for shells.

A different night we had a fabulous meal at Le Nuit D'Orient (right).

We did 3 main activities during the visit of 2006... eat, swim and play games.

Katherine underwater by day.

On New Year's Eve, Ian and I went to an Embassy function so the kids had an evening with their grandparents.

Chess remains very popular in our family.

Over the visit we toured the British School grounds.  Well, Ian, my dad and I toured.  The kids played Harry Potter chess, placing themselves as pieces on the board.
